I have finally decided to switch blogging platforms and purchase a custom URL. I switched to squarespace (after reading this post about it from Bonjour Luce) and I really like it so far. It’s only been a few hours so I’m still working on the formatting and whatnot, but my new site is up and running!

HOWEVER, if you’re subscribed to my blog via email/wordpress or bloglovin’, please take a second to subscribe to my new blog via bloglovin’ (here) or a RSS feed reader (like feedburner here) instead (because you will no longer receive my posts).

I’ll also be doing a 1-year blogiversary giveaway soon, so be sure to follow/subscribe below so you don’t miss it!

About Squarespace: They offer a two week free trial, but you can only import 20 posts from another blog, so I decided to make a commitment and upgrade. The one year personal account worked out cheaper than wordpress (especially with the student discount they offer), so I went with that and proceeded to import my blog from wordpress to squarespace. The process was pretty simple, but as with any social media platform, there is a bit of a learning curve. I might do a post about it if anyone is interested, just let me know in the comments! (:

Disclaimer: Links are not affiliate links, this post is not sponsored, and I paid for my squarespace site myself. I know I’ve never posted sponsored content, but in posts like this with multiple links I like to mention it anyway.
